A male Reed Bunting taken in the woodland today, I've been out of action over the last few days with a back problem and have not been able to sit at my computer and post images and comments.
Nice shot. Good to see you posting again. I wondered what had happened to you. Hope the back problem has healed now.
David gets spondylolisthesis and his vertebrae dislocates every now and then. (an old war wound from his RAF days). He has problems sitting at the computer when his back plays up too. The last time it dislocated I went into the study and he was standing in front of the desktop computer with a pile of box files and the keyboard on top of them because he couldn't sit. Where there's a will there's a way.
Lovely shot Peter. I can sympathise with a back problem. A couple of years ago I had a trapped nerve in my lower back and didn't know what to do with myself - couldn't sit down, so had to do everything standing up, or lying down, which made things a bit tricky. Hope you feel better soon.
@onewing Thank you for your kind words Babs, I damaged my spine in my twenties after leaving a friends car at speed through the windscreen after she lost control and hit a dry stone wall, it flares up now and then lasts for a week or two then I'm fine, I hope to be fit by the 13th May as I'm booked on a 3.5 hour flight to Spain, lol:)
@suesouthwood Thank you for your warm wishes Sue, I'm currently standing typing this comment, to add insult to injury I can't stand for long due to waiting for my full knee replacement, lots of resting with short burst of activity, its completely alien to me I'm on the go all the time from dawn till dusk :)
So sorry to hear about your back. I know what it's like because I had to have a back op in 2001 and spent 8 months off work! Great shot of the reed bunting Fav
@rosiekind Thank you for your well wishes, comment and fav Rosie they are appreciated, I understand that I may need an operation to wire/fuse two vertebrae if it continues to play up but usually it sorts its self out within a couple of weeks:)

Sorry to hear about your back and knee problems Peter. I find the more I move the better my back is.
