Elvis Presley recorded "Always on My Mind" on March 29, 1972, a few weeks after his February separation from his wife, Priscilla.
@louannwarren Indeed it is Lou Ann I took the photograph she is outside the front of Lincoln Cathedral, we met at a Valentines day party that same year and the rest is history:)
@quietpurplehaze Many thanks for your great comment and Fav, Hazel, it was a rocky start, I lost her telephone number after the first date Jenny thought I was not interested as I didn't ring, a few weeks later I got her number gave her a call, she took some persuading but I talked her into going for a meal and as they say the rest is history:)
Our first date was April 1st!
