I attended the remembrance service today at the cenotaph in London,

Beautiful tribute. We don't tend to have the Remembrance Sunday service here in Australia, but we do observe a minute's silence (even in the shopping centres) at 11 am on the 11 November and we do place wreath's on the cenotaph's. Our day here is Anzac Day.

@onewing Thanks for your lovely comments Babs, the Remembrance Service at the Cenotaph is always the nearest Sunday to the 11th November, we still have Remembrance services on the 11th and all shops and places of work stop to observe the minutes silence at 11:00 am, all sports events over the weekend did the say before the start of the match;)
