Wetlands provide us with many ecological services, particularly by absorbing large quantities of water during heavy rainfall or rapid snowmelt. I am always fascinated by the wildlife and wonderful textures of these wetlands. They are home to over 600 species of plants, animals and insects. I had to send up the drone to get this vantage point.

Beautiful shot of your wetlands and the colorful trees in the background. Wetlands are precious. They have preserved a few here in California, but we used to be covered with them.
