Titanic tribute

I passed this not realising what it was - in the City Port from which she sailed on her maiden and only voyage, this is a memorial to the Engineer Officers on board the RMS Titanic, April 1912.

It's lovely! While in the maritimes we went to a cemetery that has a whole section devoted to Titanic victims. Such a tragedy.

I like the sculptural relief and the lights enhance this sculpture . It is a good time to take it and the blue evening sky makes a dramatic backdrop.
