Halifax Old Station by peadar

Halifax Old Station

This rather lovely, grand old building had a short life as the original railway station for Halifax. It was opened in 1844, but within 10 years a new line and station had been built a few hundred yards to the east, and this original structure was used as a goods facility (!). It is now a protected, Grade II Listed, building, and is incorporated as part of "Eureka", the National Children's Museum.
What a beautiful night image!

@fishers Thank you Ian. It turned out much better than I expected (thank you Lightroom). I was amazed at the history, couldn't quite believe it had been superceded so quickly.
