I thought it was about time to bring you some bassoon images. I have played the bassoon for 40 years and this (and music generally) has changed my life in so many ways.
It's said that if you are not mad before you start playing the bassoon, you soon will be, and I can confirm that this is, indeed, the case! It has an amazing series of keys and pads, which have to be operated in the most bizarre combinations; this shot is intended to give an idea of the complexity of the metal work. As usual, best viewed large to get the effects...

Yay, the bassoon shot!!! Great depth of field Peter, I love the narrow focal point! Post more photos of it! Music is such a wonderful, personal thing that only musicians truly understand I think...I live and breathe it and can't wait for more musical inspired shots :)
