This is my work case. I've had it a little while. In days gone past it would be crammed full of memos, reports, spreadsheets, the remnants of my in-tray that I hadn't managed to get done, probably a 3 year old tax return, something to do with the kids' school reports, my lunch, maybe even a bit of yesterday's lunch, a holiday brochure (or two), a calculator the size of a brick, some annoying insurance document that I should have dealt with a week ago ... Get the idea?
The world has moved on. With the onset of email, smartphones, wi-fi, and so on, the case has been relegated to carrying a couple of pieces of fruit and my wallet. But I can't bring myself to abandon it...

I like your focus on the shot and the simple composition is nice. I do love the fact that you'd have a holiday brochure in your work case - keeping up the motivation. And now of course we'll just surf online for holiday stuff on our lunch breaks... Lovely story to go with the picture. :)
It's funny but I've been tidying up the junk room and came across several brief cases that I had when I was doing a more high powered job. I think that I might as well put them on free cycle or something because I'm never going to use them again although they are handy for storing photos! lol
