Bye for now...

Trains: the last shot from my visit to Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway.

This one-third scale live steam railway runs for almost 14 miles along the south Kent coast, ferrying passengers to and from the various coastal resorts en route. See previous entries for the full story.

This final shot gives you a good overview of the station complex at the railway's HQ at New Romney. In the far distance you can see the signal box and, beyond that, the engine shed. "Hurricane", the blue locomotive waiting to depart, dates from 1927 and is a model of a Pacific class 4-6-2 (similar to the full size Flying Scotsman!).
Gorgeous little train. It looks quite delightful.
