was the name given to January's full moon by the Algonquin tribe of Native Americans. So named because of the packs of hungry wolves howling outside of the villages in midwinter. This is my last creepy photo for a while. I don't want you guys thinking I'm turning into a vampire or something. :) I took this shot last night and wasn't going to use it but, I changed my mind...seeing as how I don't have anything else to post for today.
It's beautiful, Peggy, especially with the accompanying information. I wonder if our dingoes howl like that on the January full moon? We'd have to call it a Dingo Moon.
