Just celebrating warmer weather. I think the groundhog was right...it's been close to 70 degrees (21 C) most of this week. Spring seems to be on the way. :)
Beautiful lighting and texture, Peggy. It's warm here this week also. Predicted to be 55 today. That's just a teaser here in the north, though. It is only February.
@girlie
Thanks, Robin. Are you ready for fall down under? As much as I love the return of spring, I'm always ready for the first nip of autumn air when the time comes.
@pinktornado39
Thanks, Laura. Punxsutawnyians should be proud of their hometown boy. He seems to have nailed it this year. I won't take issue with their claim of 100% accuracy...but, I swear there have been a couple of years that I remember thinking "That groundhog was way off base". I guess 'early' can be subjective. heh :)
@smith
Thanks, Bob. Nothing is in bloom here yet...but after a few more days of this warm weather I expect an explosion of growth to start happening. This tulip was one of a bunch from the grocery store floral dept. :)
btw, according to Punxsutawneyians (now that's a mouthful!), Phil is correct 100% of the time. ;-p
Thanks, Clarissa. I'm loving this Intro to Spring we're having!

Thanks for your comments, Madeline, Isis and Yoella!
Thanks, Barb. Enjoy your warmer temps! Winter might have a last hurrah, but spring is just around the corner. :)
Thanks, Graham. That's high praise coming from you, so I appreciate the comments! :)
Thanks so much for the lovely comments, Amy, Catherine, Constance, Emer and Jennifer!
Thanks, Judith...it's been a long, cold winter. Signs of spring are a welcome sight!
Thanks, Sheri. I agree...there's something very cool about a tulip!
Thanks, Molly. We were on the same wave length with flower photos. :)
