I was visiting my former sister-in-law in the hospital yesterday. Her room was on the 11th floor and right across from the helicopter landing deck. This emergency flight came in while I was there and I was able to take some shots through the window. It was interesting to see all the medical personnel, who had been on deck waiting for the landing, spring into action.
(Bev ~ if you see this on fB, I hope you're feeling better. Thanks for the photo opp. heh)

Thanks for the comments, everyone! @Cath, Kelly ~ I was so glad to have my camera with me. :) @Laura ~ Thanks so much for the fav! Sister-in-law is doing well. After surgery she had a one night stay at the hospital and is now home recuperating. @Ann ~ that's probably what your arrival looked like.
Good to know you were sitting attentively at her bedside!!! ;0) Love the pic - really clear & I did love ER - though 'that' helicopter scene was a bit traumatic!
Great capture, Peggy. Reminds me of the time my tiny grandson was flown in one of these to a far away hospital for emergency surgery. They do a wonderful job.
@girlie
And it's a wonderful thing that this service is available for critical patients. Such a relief for you at the time, I'm sure, to know that little Alex was in very good hands.
Peggy, you are a true addict. I hope your former sister-in-law is getting better. What a fabulous action shot!! It is a rare opportunity that you get to take a picture like that, and it turned out great!
what a great photo opportunity it lead to though! i love this, think it might even be a fav! (:

Thanks, Barb...I was taking the photos through the window in s-i-l's room...don't think anyone could have seen me. :)
Thanks, Kimberly and Emer...I hope this person is doing well, too.
