The sun was determined to break through the clouds...and it did. :)
Took this out of the car window on the drive to the vineyard on Friday.
Haven't taken any photos since then. I'm, unfortunately, out of remission and into the fire right now...but determined to get back on track. Not whining, just letting you know why my comments have been AWOL. Ok, I'm whining...but not looking for sympathy. :)
So sorry to hear that, Peggy. You'll get plenty of sympathy from me! Hope you can get back on track soon. The Methx not working for you at present? This is a beautiful shot, anyway, and hope you'll be back into taking more before too long. Chin up you poor thing!
Spectacular shot, Peggy. The rays of light, the cloud formations and the placement of that bird - just perfect. Sorry you are not feeling well. I haven't known you long enough to know what you are referring to?
@girlie Thanks, Robin. I know you can relate. I had talked my doctor into letting me try an antibiotic therapy in addition to the regular chemo (MTX)...I was so excited when it actually seemed to be working for the past three months or so. Thought it was going to be the answer. So, I'm suffering from disappointment as much as remanifestation agony. Oh well ~ it was a great three months. :)
@barbsmith
Thanks, Barb. I was diagnosed with an inflammatory autoimmune disease four years ago. It sux...but, I'm adjusting to my new life. Just railing at fate right now in hopes that it makes me feel better emotionally. :)
This is so beautiful Peggy! You are a ray of sunshine around here....I hope you find another therapy that works for you so you're feeiling like your old self soon. Don't even think about the commenting....just get better! (((Hugs))
This is brilliant Peggy and I hope some healing rays fall on you again soon! Youŕe allowed to whine! I´m not - the ski instructor has no sympathy for bruises - but you are!
Peggy, this beautiful photo has such an ethereal feel to it. So lovely, with the sun rays shining down through the clouds. And, you are completely deserving of sympathy. I think it's important to let your friends on here know what's going on. If you're gone for more than a couple days, we start to worry! I'm so sorry to hear that your medication has stopped working. I don't know much about RA, but is it possible that your body may be out of balance, causing the medication to not work, and it may get better again? You have such an inner energy, I just know how frustrating it must be for you to have your outter self not cooperating with your inner self. Your are in my thoughts girl, and fuss away. This is a good place to stomp your feet!! And lay off commenting for a while. Save those hands for holding Harper.
How frustrating for you to be feeling badly - I am so sorry. Your photo is really beautiful, though. I always get a warm fuzzy when I see rays of light come shining down through the clouds like that . . . sending prayers that you feel better soon.
Fantastic capture. The rays of light are amazing. Nicely shot and a fav. Hope you find something that helps you get back to remission. Will be thinking of you.
Just read your description. Makes me mad to hear! Things had been going so well that I'd almost forgotten they really aren't. Thoughts and prayers............
Whine away Peggy, we are all here to support you when you need us. I hope you feel better soon and things start looking up for you. On that subject, this is a beautiful shot, and full of HOPE. xxx
@peggysirk - i am in love with this one! breath-taking all around. the element of the bird just adds to the awesome!
i hope you feel better soon. :( i know when things are very difficult my photography really makes me feel a bit of peace in the turmoil, so i can't imagine not being able to shoot. i'll be sending you some healing thoughts...
