Great capture. The driver looks a bit like the popular portrayal of Death: all in black with two holes for eyes. At least that's how it appears on my screen.
It's a lovely style of trolley, and I have to agree with Robin, the driver looks rather sinister - it's just a trick of the light, or perhaps he's wearing glasses, but the glint of his eyes is demonic. :-)

Thanks, Diana, Robin, Barb, and Graham. Heh ~ The demonic look of this trolley driver is what caught my attention. That, and the display of extreme driving. I was rather glad it wasn't my tail he was riding. :)
We have these free trolleys in Austin, Texas too. They are called Dillos, as in Armadillos. Funny, huh?
Looks like a beautiful day in your neck of the woods.
@stephsharif
Dillos is a perfect name for Texas trolleys! The trolleys here in Charlotte are known as the Gold Rush line...honoring the area's past gold history.
Thanks for the comments, Kim, Christine, Peggy and Terry! Watching this trolley driver in action I was happy not to be a passenger on the trolly from hell. :)
Thanks for the comments, Kerry, Catherine and Clarissa! @Clarissa ~ these trolleys are right here in Charlotte. Their primary purpose is to transport commuters to and from remote parking areas around the perimeter of the uptown area. But anyone can hop on and use them to get from one uptown venue to another....as long as you don't mind riding with metal eating Death Minions at the wheel. :) jk-most trolley drivers are very courteous and controlled.
Wow. I wonder if he got Charlotte confused with New York. Yikes! It always amazes me that people think they will get somewhere faster if they tailgate. Crazy!!

Thanks ~ Cheryl, Judith, Emer, Sheri, Bill, Isis, and Katrina. I appreciate your time, your comments, and the connection! BTW ~ most trolley drivers are skilled and courteous on the street. I think this dude was just having a bad day. So, if you're ever in Charlotte, don't hesitate to jump on board a friendly uptown trolley! :)

Sitting at the light. :)
Thanks, Kelly...most of the trolley drivers aren't quite so aggressive. :)
