Tom and I were babysitting for Harper yesterday while her parents went to the lake with friends for the afternoon. While Harper was taking a nap I looked at the baby monitor and saw this little pile up in the crib. She was sound asleep on top of a stuffed owl, a glow worm, an elephant lovey, a few pacifiers and I'm not sure what else. I went upstairs to roll her off the stack of toys, but fortunately she'd already rolled herself to the side and was still sleeping soundly. :)
That is such a great shot Peggy! Wow, have baby monitors ever changed since my kids were little!! No pictures available then. It was probably a good thing, because we kept hearing our neighbors over our monitor, and some things probably shouldn't have been heard!!
I wish I could sleep that soundly! Yes, monitors have definitely improved, but back the day just having one was pretty awesome. By the way, I love the name Harper.
