Every April the Dilworth Criterium (short course bicycle race) is held in the neighborhood ~ lapping the park. Amateur and professional racers from across the country participate in the event. Tom and I walked down this morning to check out some of the action. The 45+ amateur racers were just finishing up...these two had just crossed the finish line. Looks like none too soon for the rider on the left. :)
He looks like he's glad to see the finishing line. The one on the right, on the other hand, looks to be smiling in quite a relaxed fashion. Nice capture, Peggy.
