The first Carolina Panthers preseason game is tonight and will be played at home in Bank of America Stadium. The stadium is about 6 or 7 blocks from our house and we can hear the PA announcer, music and cheers quite clearly out on the patio. I love it! This is also where President Obama will be giving his nomination acceptance speech during the Democratic National Convention in a few weeks...although convention goers and all the printed agenda materials will refer to it as "Panther Stadium", leaving "Bank of America" on the editing room floor. Not sure what they plan to do about the huge sign on the front of the stadium...oh well. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
