This is Scrappy ~ posing as a gentleman house cat in the garden. In truth, the boy is a half-feral, street fighting, neighborhood ruffian...semi-retired. :)
Three good things:
1. My mom and step-father have bought a house in the CLT area. It will be so good to have them close by!
2. A cold front is moving in and dropping the temps dramatically. Time to get the winter clothes out.
3. UGA beat Florida
Oh he's reinventing himself as a toff - he's been watching Downton clearly. Great news on the house front. Worrying weather forecast - our poor dog groomer had taken her whole family to NY today. They hardly ever get away on holiday... Still worse if your home & business is being wrecked.
Top Cat !!!!!!!! He looks a wily guy & very handsome! Hope you keep safe in your area Peggy, quite frightening when you see the news reports.
Good news on the house front & a quick purchase!! lovely for families to be together!
@happypat Thanks, Pat. We've just had some clouds and higher than usual wind gusts from the outer bands of the storm. Nothing severe or damaging...other than some interruptions in cable/Internet service today. I'm afraid the NE is going to be hammered rather hard.
@bpaquette Wow...Norwegian Forest Cat...we've been selling the poor dude short referring to him as an undocumented thug. :) My parents are moving from the south Georgia coastal area...Brunswick, GA - which is located between Savannah and Jacksonville, FL.
Hope you are as prepared as possible for whatever is heading your way storm-wise. Stay safe!
@judithg Scraps can only hold the ruse for short periods of time. He fakes toff and lives tuff. :)
What unfortunate timing for your dog groomer's vacation to NY. I hope that things won't be as dire as predicted with the weather. But I think she will have some stories to tell when she returns home.
Scrappy looks like my two boys and would love to live their protected life. So happy for you and your mom to be living close together. Not sure how much of the storm we will really get but sounds pretty scarey. Take care
Oh Peggy, such great news about your Mom. I guess I haven't really heard very much about your mom. Now I will get to see some pictures. And I love that Scrappy boy, half feral or not. He has the coolest tough guy attitude, and then I will see a picture of him with Harper being all sappy, and my heart just melts. He's such a poser. I love it! We won't tell his partners in crime about his soft side. We'll just enjoy watching it. :)

Wonderful about the house - boy, that was quick! Where are they moving from?
Hope you are as prepared as possible for whatever is heading your way storm-wise. Stay safe!
