Mean Mister Mustard sleeps in the park
Shaves in the dark trying to save paper
Sleeps in a hole in the road
Saving up to buy some clothes
Keeps a ten bob note up his nose
Such a mean old man
Such a mean old man
His sister Pam works in a shop
She never stops, she's a go-getter
Takes him out to look at the queen
Only place that he's ever been
Always shouts out something obscene
Such a dirty old man
Such a dirty old man ~ John Lennon
I kind of hated to give this guy the moniker of Mean Mr. Mustard. He was innocently standing at a bus stop and probably doesn't deserve the tag. BUT, the mustard colored pants and the scowl caught my eye...and it is Beatles Tune week. :)
I do have good things to share, but with the focus of the world on the horrific events and unthinkable sorrow in Newtown, CT, I think I'll save them for another day.
Oh Peggy - you are so brave for taking this shot and so clever for thinking of it for the theme.
I think most of our hearts are just aching beyond words.
Oh - he might be having just a short mean moment! Glad you've got good news - I abandoned three good things yesterday. What a tragedy from every which way you look at it. Come on Obama - time to show what you're made of....
