When I first saw this heart on a neighbor's front door I thought it was a child's art project and took a photo because I thought it was so cute and sweet. It wasn't until I downloaded my photos that I noticed the cut out of the very buff shirtless dude. Seeing as how it's not Valentine's Day, I'm thinking maybe an anniversary...or something. It's obviously not my original thought of 'kid's stuff'. :)
Posting early as I will likely not have another opportunity today. My mother and stepfather will be in town for delivery of new furniture to their new house. I'm taking dinner over and checking out the new arrivals and helping with unpacking of whatever boxes of things they, no doubt, will be bringing up with them. Will catch up with comments late tonight while I'm watching the Murray/Federer tennis match.
Three good things:
1. The amazing smell of doughnuts in the air this morning from one or more of the three bakeries nearby
2. My mom being one step closer to being my 'neighbor'
3. Once again the "S" word is in the forecast for Friday. Maybe we'll actually see a snowflake or two this time...
Too funny! Isn't it fun, though, to find surprises like this when you download onto the big screen? Have fun today. (Hope you get a little cat nap in!)
Never really know what the camera captures that the eye doesn't see.
Good thing about smelling the donuts is that there are no calories involved. You must be so happy to have your mom close to you. And I only wish we had snow in the forecast, it would mean its warming up.
How funny Peggy but i bet you did really see that guy & thought you would give us all a sneaky treat.....only kidding!!!!!! It is amazing the things you do see after you upload that aren't obvious when you take the picture!!
Lovely to have your mum so near & lovely for them too that you can come round with hot dinners....a win win situation all round!
I like making up stories to go with this --- but probably shouldn't put them in print! So glad your Mom is moving closer!!!! How far from your house will they be?!?!
@bpaquette They will be 25 miles away, Barbara...takes about 30 minutes door to door. It certainly beats the current 6 hour distance. I'm thrilled about this move!
@sarasdadandmom You know, Terry, I think you're right...shame on me for not seeing the resemblance right away! :)
Sending you an email asap. I'm tougher than I appear ~ thanks so much for asking! :)
LOL! Talk about a surprise photo bomb, this sure made me smile. That's a very pretty door though and cute shot. Doughnut aromas in the air??? OMG if there was a donut shop nearby me, I'd be in major trouble ;-)
