The first almost full moon of Spring was shining bright last night in spite of the considerable cloud cover. I thought about waiting to take a shot tonight when the moon was completely full and I have time to use my 'big' camera and tripod, but it's supposed to be 26 degrees (-3C)...so I'm going with what I have.
Three good things:
1. My sister-in-law is coming up from Hilton Head next week to go to the Eric Clapton concert with us
2. A big box of 'stuff' ready for charity pickup tomorrow morning
3. I'm not in last place in the NCAA basketball bracket competition :)
I spent so many frames trying to get the moon last night - nothing but a big white blob...now I must play with the settings until I find one that works. Love how you can see the details in the moon surface in this shot. I see you must have gotten the cleaning out bug that @happypat had!
@bpaquette@happypat I took the opportunity to clear things out as I was putting the kitchen back in order. Ahh, feels great to de-clutter. :) I am the polar opposite of a hoarder. Small space living has made me an expert minimalist.
Excellent moon shot surrounded by the dark clouds. Well done! I loved your last 6 three things....such fun to look forward to the concert and vacation to Bermuda and seeing an owl, too! Wow.
