I spotted this little Brown snake next to the curb on the street when I was getting the mail. I was glad he stuck around long enough for me to run inside to grab a camera. This is definitely not one of my favorite signs of Spring, but I read that they eat slugs, so I suppose they have a useful purpose.
Three good things:
1. The NFL draft starts tonight...I'm not sure why I find it so interesting, but I do.
2. Found my lost sunglasses
3. The bird that my cat caught, and brought in the house as a gift, managed to escape. After he got away and perched on top of a cabinet, he flew safely away when I opened the kitchen door. I need to put a bell on that darn cat. He had me and the poor bird traumatized.
Naughty Scrappy but he gave it you as a gift...horrible present!!!!! Snakes in the street, is that usual....I saw that judithg had seen one the other day too! Not sure what I would do if I saw one on a walk , be very surprised for one!!
Nice of this guy to stick around for you. I'm guessing he was loving that bit of sunshine. Hate it when cats bring home gifts. Glad you were able to get the bird out before it made a mess of your house.
