Yea, It's Summertime! by peggysirk

Yea, It's Summertime!

I got a bit distracted and off track with 365 last month. However, it's a brand new month and I'm ready to make a comeback. I've really missed my 365 friends and I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone!!! :)

Three good things:
1. The month of July
2. There's still one American left in the line up at Wimbledon.
3. The sun is shining...for the moment anyway. :)
Ahhh.....this is one for her wall! Beautifully taken Peggy. It always seems that the photos taken with love turn out the best. :)

Welcome back Peggy - I've missed your lovely shots and you have certainly returned with a bang. I just love this shot - the sharp focus of beautiful Harper is stunning against the water. A big fat fav and please don't go away again!

Hurrah - you're back! You can't beat water jets up your costume when it's hot I always find. Dreadful news from Arizona - can't believe the average age of those poor boys - can't help but think that people shouldn't live there but then we Brits like to go and visit in the summer hols.

This is a fountain or water jets as @judithg says? Must be wonderful in those high temps and you can see the delight on this child's face!

It's late but when I saw your name pop up i thought i must comment...surprising how far down the page you will be in the morning!!!
Lovely sunny holiday girl...love the colourful swim suit with the little frills....a real little beauty queen Peggy!
So enjoying the tennis...our man is a bit further on tonight!!!

@suesmith Thanks so much for the fav, and for your very sweet comments, Sue!

@petersonsheri You are such a sweetheart, Sheri! Have you given any more thought to a return to 365? Maybe when things calm down a bit in your life?

@judithg That was such a heartbreaking tragedy, Judith. Seems like the toll from wildfires increases every year as construction expands into once remote areas.

@maggiemae Those are water jets, Maggie. It's what is known as the 'sprayground' at the park in the neighborhood. My granddaughter, Harper, was having a wonderful time on a very warm day. :)

@happypat Thank you, always, for your wonderful comments, Pat! Hasn't this been an interesting tournament at Wimbledon this year?! So many top names out early on. But I know that GB is wildly excited about Andy's hopes. Will keep my fingers crossed for him! This could be his year to do it!

Ha! Welcome back!! I imagine your life is busy with your Mom nearby and the new baby. Glad you and Harper have your time together. I was just thinking of emailing you again, but you are back!!! Great shot of all the water blobs. We are miserably humid up here...when is this low pressure system going to move out? It has been stalled for quite a long time now. I would welcome a sprayground!!!

You had a good excuse with the baby, but happy to see you back here.

What a wonderful capture of Harper's expression and the water jets! I was so happy to see your comment on one of my photos. I've been worried about you. So happy to see you back. We are well into our "summer camp" activities with the kids here at the lake.

@peggysirk ~ Hi. I do think that I am going to return. I don't even think that it will be on a full-time or pressured basis, but just a fun return. I miss having people that understand the "crazy" side of me when I get really excited about finding a lovely patch of weeds! It will probably be in September. :)
