This is a shot of the legendary BB King's guitar, "Lucille". It was sitting on stage waiting for him to come out and work his magic. At the age of 88, BB King still has that warm and weathered distinctive voice...and still plays "Lucille" like the greatest bluesman ever.
I did some hard core editing on this photo as all of my shots were less than good.
Three good things:
1. A beautiful January night for walking to the Knight Theater
2. The chance to see 'the King of the Blues'
3. My oven repair scheduled to be completed today
You did a great job on processing this to make it a really classy shot. Hard to believe BB is 88!!
PS Sorry about the Panthers. With all the eliminations, now I'll be rooting for Denver to be the champs on Super Bowl Sunday. Need to check when it is -- usually around hubby's bday!
@cimes1 Carole, the Super Bowl is on Sunday, Feb. 2, 6:25 pm kickoff. Panthers fans were disappointed by the loss yesterday, but thrilled with the overall season and are looking forward to September. :)
