Tennis Legends

Went with to the Tennis Legends Tennis Match last night...Cash, Connors, McEnroe and Lendl. The spectator in the center came as John McEnore, circa 1982. :) The tennis greats still have some awesome moves on the court. Jimmy Connors gets the Best Dressed award with his classic Gatsby look.

Three good things:
1. A fun time with good friends
2. A fun package in the mail from daughter, Elizabeth
3. Breakfast at the Midnight Diner
Oh, it must have been such a fun evening and event to attend. Great collage.

Great to see this event in all these pictures! They don't lose their fitness!

What fun for you to have had the pleasure of attending the event and capturing some nice photos! I, too, like the Gatsby look! (A lot!)

This must have been a thrill to see. I will need help in IDing the photos. It's been years since I've seen them --more like decades! I like the way you put together this action collage.

@cimes1 Carole - The eternally youthful and cute Pat Cash is in the top left. Jimmy Connors is in the top right and looking quite dapper in his long tennis pants. Ivan Lendl is fit and forceful in the bottom right. And John McEnroe, who won the night's match, is doing a post match interview in the bottom left. :) McEnroe is still very active on the tennis scene as a commentator at the major tournaments, And Lendl can be seen in the player's box at most tournaments as Andy Murray's coach.

@peggysirk Thank you, Peggy. They all look fantastic. My son-in-law sat next to McEnroe at a bar when they were on vacation a couple years ago and said he was very friendly. Connors really does have that Gatsy look. Was Chris Evert there? Is she still going with Greg Norman (used to love going to the golf tournaments at Bay Hill here until the price got way out of sight).

@cimes1 Chrissy and Greg Norman were married for less than two years before they divorced about five years ago. Apparently not a match made in Heaven.
