Today (Epiphany) is the day I take down the door wreaths...the last vestiges of Christmas. It's always a little sad, but they're usually beginning to dry out, brown up, and look ready to go.
Three Good Things:
1. Asking a question on Google and seeing it finish your words, meaning there are others out there wondering the same thing.
2. Laundry fragrance beads
3. Hot chocolate with whipped cream instead of marshmallows
Your TGT are so interesting Peggy! Laundry beads....I have seen boxes of sheets of fragrance but never a bead!
Your tartan ribbon is very stylish & far better than my plain red one! A little bit sad to see the lovely bits of Christmas go!
@happypat Downy laundry beads are fabulous, Pat. You add them directly to the wash cycle and it infuses clothes, sheets, towels, etc. with a wonderful, fresh scent that really lasts. This link says US product...I wonder if they're even available in the UK. http://www.downy.com/en-US/product-line/scent-booster.jspx
@bpaquette Barbara, those fragrance beads are fabulous. As a matter of fact, here's a testimonial...I washed my reusable canvas grocery bags using laundry beads and weeks later the cashier in the grocery store said, "Oh my, your grocery bags smell amazing". :)
Love that beautiful ribbon and it's a very lovely capture. I started taking down decorations yesterday but so many interruptions, it will take me at least 4 more days. At least the outside is done. I agree, it's always a bit sad....but once it's done, I rather enjoy the new look.
