I couldn't help but notice this guy's melancholy look as I passed by this little deli. Maybe he was just dreading stepping back out into the cold. Winter has arrived in the South...going down to 10F (-12C) degrees tonight.
Three Good Things:
1. My mom is heading out of town just in time to escape the brunt of the cold. She and seven of her friends are leaving tomorrow for a 10 day Caribbean cruise.
2. Fireplaces
3. Pot roast in the oven for dinner tonight. The kitchen is toasty warm and the aroma is pretty awesome.
@bpaquette Thanks, Barbara! I don't think he noticed what was going on outside. I was trying to act like I was taking a photo of the deli itself just in case he looked my way.
I can’t believe it’s that cold there! He does look a bit pensive. You should have invited him home. A good pot roast on a cold day will cheer up anyone!
I can smell the pot roast from here. I love comfort food during cold weather....made Chili Mac last night. Cool catch of this thoughtful man. It's fun to imagine what people are thinking :-)
