Bedtime Stories

This is the only shot I took that wasn't a total blur of giggle-fits when Aunt Liz was reading "The Book With No Pictures"...Harper's new favorite book...(a wonderfully fun book, by B.J. Novak, for young children). ☺

Three Good Things:

1. "Paddington"...the Paddington Bear movie
2. Movie theater popcorn
3. Hitting tennis balls on a sunny Saturday afternoon
Fav for me! You captured the sweetest expression....love the tones and the matte finish gives it a dreamy quality. Perfect!

As she was from Day One, Harper is an exquisite child! Only yesterday my friends were talking about names that are currently being given children. One said she'd just heard of "Harper" but had never heard that before... I piped up with "Harper Lee" and someone had another pairing, so I chimed back in with "I know another little girl named Harper"! This looks like a children's story book illustration!

@Weezilou Thank you, Louise! "To Kill a Mockingbird" is one of the all time favorite books of Harper's mommy. I have a feeling the name of the author struck a chord with her when deciding on a name for her first born. In keeping with family tradition she gave Harper a family name as the middle name...Harper Davenport Ary. I loved it from the moment I heard it.

@happypat We had a delightful spend the night get together, Pat! Went to the movies, made cupcakes, did some arts and crafts projects, played, read, talked, laughed...Aunt Elizabeth was ready for an early bedtime tonight. ☺

Just saw your comment above. How interesting that she is named after Harper Lee. That's also on my top ten list of favorite books.
