I was in the kitchen fixing dinner yesterday evening and noticed a very cool galactic sight through the transom window above the backdoor...a waxing crescent moon to the right of my neighbor's roof line, with Venus appearing to the left and Mars just above it. The planets are the tiny bright dots just at the apex of the roof.
I thought it was awesome, but then, I'm easily amazed. ☺
Three Good Things:
1. Chauffeuring my mom and three of her friends to and from the symphony last night.
2. Listening to four adorable 80-something-year-olds discuss and critique "50 Shades of Grey"
3. A high temperature above freezing in the forecast for today
I saw that, too, while walking and you could see the shadow of the dark part of moon like in your photo. Venus was amazingly bright! Love how you created this cool shot!
I only spotted the (much larger) moon last night -23rd- but have been noticing the brilliance of the planets! What a lovely sight you were able to capture here! Fave for *the amazing things in life* and the joy in sharing them!
