Christmas Cookies by peggysirk

Christmas Cookies

I'll be starting Round 2 of cookie baking today. I thought I had wrapped that up...but I keep seeing cookie recipes posted on fB that look soooo good that I just have to give them a try. :)

Three Good Things:
1. Daughter Elizabeth has arrived from ATL for Christmas
2. Friendly sales clerks
3. Whipped cream
I can't tell from your ingredients on here what the recipe is today Peggy! Is that what you would call a stick of butter? Our butter is sold in a different oblong shape than that one.

This is basic rolled sugar cookies in progress, Pat. Also made Whipped Shortbread cookies, cinnamon crisps, and Chocolate Walnut cookies. Now on to cakes...gingerbread with salted caramel sauce for tomorrow night's dinner, and chocolate mousse cake for Christmas dinner on Sunday.
And that is a stick of butter. There are four sticks in a one pound box of butter. Each stick is 1/2 cup. Makes measuring easy. I love your European butter. It's available here, but for double the price. I have to splurge occasionally...it's so delicious. :)
