Urban Meadow Garden

We're making good strides in transforming large sections of our 31-acre neighborhood park into a sanctuary for pollinators and wildlife. It involves removing tons of invasive, non-native weeds, vines, plants and shrubs, and replacing them with native specimens. This area along the creek path is being filled with ninebarks, bottlebrush buckeyes, and oakleaf hydrangeas, among other native plants and trees.
Three Good Things:
1. I'm learning so much working with neighbors who are so knowledgeable about ecology and horticulture.
2. The EverGiven is unstuck. The coffee shipments can get through.
3. The self-clean cycle on my oven does a beautiful job.
Lovely!

This is gorgeous! I have always loved a white garden (my friend called it her moon garden). Is that Virginia Creeper it is nestled in?

@bkp Good eye! Thereโ€™s Virginia Creeper along the creek bank that is making its way up along the path.

Thatโ€™s really special. Itโ€™s lucky your native plants are so beautiful- I think a bit more glamorous than ours!

A beautiful garden with such soft creamy whites and yellows. Nice to live in a neighbourhood that takes the time to create these beautiful gardens. I think that cup of coffee has just tripled in price now.
