I sat out on the patio and watched this hard working bird collect material and build a nest in the nook of a rain spout. We should be seeing her flying back and forth with food for her hungry babies in a couple of weeks. A mother's work is never done. ☺

3. Switching my closet over from cold to warm weather clothes...and making a big give away pile in the process.
I disturbed a blue tit with a mouthful of ‘fluff’ on its way to our bird box this afternoon and I’m hoping that I haven’t put her off. I’ve made Nigel move the the washing line so it doesn’t upset them and it’s now living precariously in a parasol stand.... This bird has chosen a much more sensible spot!
