A tree service was removing some dead limbs across the street from the soup kitchen this morning when I went to unload a Trader Joe’s donation pick up. They yelled over that they’d cut down a limb with a huge hornets nest and there were angry hornets buzzing around, so ‘be aware’. Fortunately the hornets didn’t seem to have crossed the street yet.
Three Good Things:
1. A very generous Trader Joe’s food donation. They are such good corporate citizens.
2. The awesome ‘Best Teacher Ever’ trophy grandson Will made for his teacher, Ms Clifford, out of duct tape and random pieces of hardware.
3. No angry hornet encounters
