Ready for the 4th

I did a double take when walking by this eclectic porch vignette. I think that's a topiary creature decked out in red, white, and blue.
Three Good Things:
1. An afternoon at the hair salon
2. Daughter Elizabeth arrives tomorrow from Atlanta for her birthday and 4th of July weekend
3. A perfect watermelon - super sweet and juicy

This porch takes shabby chic to a whole new level! There is a house in my neighborhood similar that I would love to take a few minutes to have a good look, but feel rather awkward…must take a picture!
