Woodthorpe Park through a Vintage Lens by phil_howcroft

Woodthorpe Park through a Vintage Lens

We went a walk to Woodthorpe Park this afternoon.

I took my Sony A6000 with a vintage lens attached.

I have on Olympus SLR from about 1981 that has a Olympus Zuiko 50mm f1.8 lens.

i took the lens off and attached it to my Sony via an Olympus to Nex adapter and hey presto here is one of my first pics

Not bad is it ?

All the people
So many people
They all go hand in hand
Hand in hand through their parklife
Know what I mean

I might take it out looking for "strangers" tomorrow
Very nice Phil!

Fav. A scene reminiscend of Victorian days. I even imagined a white horse replacing the white dog and taking his rider around the park. Wonderful!

A little frozen slice of time. It's a delightful parkland scene.
