Carole and I popped down to Belton House today and had a stroll around the gardens and grounds; It was strange using my new eye.
We spent a while dodging over-protective parents in a couple of geese with a couple of goslings (I was hissed at) down by the lake where there were a multitude of Dragonflies and Damselflies all darting around the water. Every now and then a Dragonfly would alight on a twig, reed or in this case, a stone. A 'Blue Darter' I believe?
