A bad day for bird watching suddenly turned into the first ever mouse capturing.
Actually, I can't remember the last time I came back from a bird watching walk without a single bird photo I like. But this is exactly what happened today. Clouds appeared as from nowhere and ruined all the evening light, then I scared a black woodpecker and couldn't find anything else that worth a shot. So, I decided to try and make something that I could call 'not an absolutely horrible picture' of an ordinary blue tit just so I have something to publish today. But in that cloudy evening light even that turned out to be uneasy. And when I almost thought 'oK, this is going to be another night city picture', this little buddy came out. It was another uneasy job to capture him, but finally he found a courage to come and meet me and I found a peanut to greet him, so everybody went home satisfied.
For me that's a great piece of luck as I really wanted to capture a mouse. And I'm probably going there again tomorrow to try and take a picture of this guy in a better lighting.
