Alright, he isn't exactly a stranger and yet he is. This is a portrait of the US Surgeon General. He was paying a visit to the city I work in because our Fire Department has developed a program to combat the growing opioid crisis in the U.S. Setting aside politics, it isn't every day that you get an opportunity to meet someone at that level of government.
I have labeled this as a portrait of a stranger because I have become fascinated with other people's projects on here and have decided to start my own. I am going to do a three part portrait project. The first one will be of strangers, the second one will be of family/friends and the last one will involve animals. I hope that gives me a good amount of experience.
