Not sure who the guy in the uniform was, and I assumed he was going to move the podcaster on. He waited until the guy had finished recording, the walked closer and had a chat. All very calm and civilised. Very different to the Italian police at the Spanish Steps in Rome!
Also walked past a pro-Gaza protest at Whitehall later on. Loud, busy, lots of flags, definitely keen on getting their voices heard, but no violence, no aggro, no guns, no threats. God, I love the UK!
