If you haven't tried this Egyptian street food, koshri (koshary) is a blend of flavours and textures that sounds like it shouldn't work but is actually delicious! It's got macaroni, spaghetti, rice, chickpeas, lentils, and crispy fried onions in a tangy, savoury tomato sauce with just a hint of spice.
