I was taking some pictures at the edge of Lake Ontario on a blustery, somewhat rainy day, when I saw something bright out in the water. I watched for a second and saw an occasional arm or foot poke above the waves. No one was in distress, it was just an open water swimmer out in the lake-- probably training for something as he was wearing a swim cap from an Ironman-length race that's held in the lake each summer.
Good for him - I admire the dedication. It’s an excellent way to swim, nothing quite like being out in the open. Nice action capture of the swimmer with his cap and his swim glasses on.
