Pin on History

I went back to the Philippine Culture display at the Arts Festival and found this old pin on a native dress made of pineapple or "jusi" fiber. I wanted to highlight the past history of the Filipino culture and this pin brought me back to the time when Spain ruled the Philippines for over 300 years.

@newlife thanks. If you look closely, the pin is missing at least one pearl and has a broken tip. But I think these add character to the piece.
