This is one of an orchestra of wooden angels in St Michael and all Angels Church, Lyndhurst. We went to see the stained glass windows by pre-raphaelite artists and in particular the fresco by Sir Frederic Leighton. The angels are quite hard to photograph as they are high up in the nave roof. Apparently the local fire brigade helps to dust them.
