The nearest thing to an English pie is a tourte according to my French teacher - we were discussing pies in my lesson!! I really dislike pies - had a horrible experience the other day when I bravely ordered a vegetarian pie with goats cheese only to have it served up covered in horrible translucent brown onion gravy - ugh! Your shot is simply fabulous! and I think that folded-in pastry affair is probably a type of tourte!
@tishpics That's interesting, thanks, and my bet was also on the folded-in pastry affair to help me out with today's word. I'm not so keen on pies myself, except fruit pies, of course but I do make a chicken and mushroom pie with the leftover roast chicken - but It does not have much in common with bought pies I'm glad to say. What a horrible experience!
I guest the one right hand site from the bottle of white wine. That`s how they looks like when my dear wife made them. ( the round in the middle she call it a chimney )
@quietpurplehaze : Those are build as warehouses . The facility to haul up is not mean for furniture they are made for bring in and store the merchandise . The houses are often very small according by taxes you have to pay on the ground size those days. For example : that leaning house has his entrance in the cellar door. ( to see behind that black car )
