last wild rose of summer

After the 3rd photography workshop today I took Jinks and my camera out for a walk to see what I could photograph using av settings.
I have the impression that sometimes it's necessary to go backwards in order to go forwards?!

It's been breezy and sunny. The council used one of those hideous cutter machines that rips off the tops of the bushes but now a few roses have sprouted up again!
