This was the acer in our garden this morning at breakfast time Today I don't know what the time is because the clocks have changed and it takes me at least a week to adjust. (And I don't feel as if there was an extra hour in the night last night....)
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Beautiful Acer tree ,and I love the simplicity of your garden statue A very nice capture Hazel --I wonder if the leaves are still on the tree this afternoon
I love the way this beautiful tree is sheltering your fabulous owl! I went out to shut up the hens as usual at 6pm and of course it was pitch dark and they had been roosting for about an hour!
4.20 p.m. and the leaves are on the tree, windy but not too windy!
Jinks has the problem too and it will take a week or two for him to stop asking for 'tea' at 3 p.m.! I think your puppy's problem is more important!
As I was late waking up this morning the extra hour was more then welcome.
I think your hens rule the roost anyway!!!
It's called 'purple' slate, Ivan and we treated ourselves to the owl sculpture which we saw in an art exhibition in Hilliers http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/add-ins/2013-03-29
