In the garden of the Red House....

...designed by Philip Webb for William Morris who lived there for just 5 years with his family in the mid-19th century..

The scarecrow looking after the garden now is called Will!

We visited the Red House in September and I remember it was raining just as it is here today - again.

Isn't this a perfect place...would love to stroll round the garden & house...I have always loved William Morris & the look suits our house so well. Have actually been looking at some W Morris wallpaper in Ideal Home magazine at the hairdressers this afternoon.
