I always like to have pot plants in the house and, quite often, flowers too. These chrysanthemums, carnations and gerberas from Ray on my birthday brighten up the current very windy, wet and grey days.

A delightful coloured flowers and so healthy & fresh looking -- these will be gorgeous over Christmas & most can be rescued for over the New Year -if you are like me cutting down & rearranging to get the most from every one single bloom !
Yes, I do exactly the same and I think the flowers in this bunch are probably the best for being long-lasting. (a propos of nothing, I remember making a big fruit compote at Christmas and my visiting little nephew thought it was very funny when, each day, what was left of the compote came to table in a smaller and then smaller dish!)

Oh we have been too, all day long: strong wind, heavy rain. A bit quieter now - bedtime!
