How good to see my yesterday's robin not only on the PP but also on the home page (even if he does appear headless on there!) this morning. Thank you, everyone, for your interest which put him there.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Well done Hazel TT and home page! Well deserved - this rose is so fresh and lovely - the colour is wonderful after all the red and gold about at the moment! Just off now to make Tom Kerridge's orange spice cake - fingers crossed!
Middle of summer Hazel.......a great reminder in the middle of winter...can almost smell it! Well done on your robin, always such a thrill to be on PP.
It has a great viewfinder which is the main item I wanted (I don't want a DSLR and my bridge camera had an EVF which I found quite unhelpful) and it's so easy to use in that the camera knows when you want to use the optical viewfinder or the screen. Great macro/super macro = 1 cm.
Some fun modes like the selective colour filter. http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2013-12-19
It has several auto modes but I chose a wrong option here and this shot turned out underexposed http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2013-12-15
Good learning curve and yes, I really like it!
Rosie, thank you! I think you might be interested to know that my daughter has been fostering a rescue dog from K9 Bulgaria which is now going to a home with a lady in Devon who has a dog-loving cockatoo!
No, a bunch I bought myself!! (The other week - not for my birthday, haven't quite resorted to that yet!!!! ) Birthday flowers to come...............

Hadn't thought of that - do you mean just use key words to find what I want?
