Having found my first snowdrops of the year in the churchyard at Fareham, I also discovered these a few days later in our friend's garden. I love them.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
So envious --nothing like this appearing in my garden yet --I am sure I will be waiting a month or so -- and my pigeon seems to be trampling on one bunch that are trying to break through the soil !!SUPER capture Hazel
Great micro of those beautiful first garden flowers.
Most of my flower pic.`s I do in a flower/garden shop. Ina goes for the buying, I do photographs . In our room we have A Dracaena , an Aaucaria ,a Beaucarnea, a Phalaenopsis , a Dendrobium and 6 Saintpaulia`s . At the moment
I think it must look lovely in your room! I still have my poinsettia from Christmas 2012, although it's still green (because I was too lazy to try to get it red again) but the one I bought this year just died and I have put it out.
You've really captured their delicate quality. I love seeing the first signs of growth. Snowdrops & crocuses are my favorite flowers... oh, and tulips, but they come later. It will be a long while before we see flowers as this has been an especially wild winter. Thank you for the preview.
